Hi, Iā€™m Rich holshoe

I was a social worker for about 15 years. About 5 years ago, I was drawn into the practices of mindfulness meditation, yoga, and bodywork. I began this journey as a part of my own healing, but became passionate about using these modalities to help my clients as well.

During my time as a social worker, I became frustrated with the way that psychiatric and emotional issues were treated in my clients. My work with them dealt with behavioral, and psychological aspects, sometimes in conjunction with psychiatric medications and talk therapy. At the same time, I was finding personal healing through bodywork including Craniosacral Therapy, meditation, and yoga. In 2018, I left my full-time job as a social worker and dedicated my energy to Craniosacral Therapy, bodywork, mindfulness, and life coaching. Besides my degree in Social Work, I have about 100 hours of classwork in anatomy and pathology, and about 250 hours of hands on classwork in Craniosacral Therapy (and counting!). I am committed to partnering with my clients in pursuing health from a truly holistic orientation.

My Approach to your healing

With a light touch, the CST (CranioSacral Therapy) practitioner uses their hands to evaluate the craniosacral system by gently feeling various locations of the body to test for the ease of motion and rhythm of the cerebrospinal fluid pulsing around the brain and spinal cord. Soft-touch techniques are then used to release restrictions in any tissues influencing the craniosacral system.
